Quotes

Mike Ross: I'm just saying, if you're going to quote a movie, quote a movie.
Harvey Specter: I got one word wrong.
Mike Ross: And it changed the entire meaning of the quote!
Harvey Specter: Not to me it didn't. That's what I thought the quote was.
Mike Ross: Okay, fine, you want to be disrespectful to Martin Scorsese, you go right ahead.
Harvey Specter: Martin Scorsese didn't even right the damn movie. If anything, it's disrespectful to the writer.
Mike Ross: Harvey, who cares about the writer?
Harvey Specter: Hm. Guess you're right about that.

Very risky script...

But after some uncomfortable moments they pull it out of the fire.

The risk is setting up a story about not one but two cases that have nothing to do with justice and everything to do with personal conflicts which goes against the very notion of a legal system -- think of two gunslingers in a western have a showdown ... just to make a point?

If the viewer can get by the above contradiction then the story does raise interesting issues about friendship, relationships, and honor - but not one of the best.

One of the riskiest scripts -- and not quite the home run the writers expected.
