Storyline

While the police clear up what is left at the Korban compound, Ryan and Mike Weston continue their search for Joe. They're convinced that Kingston Tanner is Joe's ultimate target but Tanner insists that he can take care of himself. Tanner is soon taken prisoner by Joe's followers and taken to a church Joe has commandeered. It's clear Joe has every intention of making a splash and the church is rigged with explosives. Claire meanwhile is not happy being cooped up in Ryan's apartment and manages to escape her protective detail. As for Mark and Luke they swear they will avenge their mother's death and are presented with the ideal opportunity to do so. Written by garykmcd

Quotes

Joe Carroll: Kingston, I am gonna offer you a choice. You can either pray to your God to save your son, or you can bow and pray to me. Which of us do you think has more power to save Preston's life?
Kingston Tanner: Please don't kill my son.
Joe Carroll: No, I'm gonna have to hear you say "God does not exist," and then throw in a "Praise Joe" for good measure.

Has Emma finally met her end? How about Lily? Unless she was wearing a vest, looks like those bullets may have very well done her in.

Looks like our minister has been reduced a person with the human frailties? Tragedy has come about as a result. How can his surviving son ever sustain himself after what has occurred with his father and the death of the young girl that the former acted upon?

Joe is as vicious as ever, showing the possible weakness of religion in this episode and apparently getting away with it. Taking hostages in the huge church is horrendous and frightening to the core.

How could Claire have been allowed to get away? Why wasn't our minister protected more carefully?
