- As a teenager in the late 1980's, The Average Homeboy, (Denny Hazen,) had a dream to become a famous rapper. This is a story about Denny's journey to Internet Fame.
- Back in the late 1980's, a teenager from Ohio set out to chase his dreams of becoming a famous rapper. The Average Homeboy, (Denny Hazen,) was pursuing this goal at a time when the music industry did not have any white solo rap artists. Up to this point, Rap Music was considered to be an "Urban" genre. From the Ohio suburbs in a small town called Louisville, Blazin Hazen sent out his demo videos to record companies and to anyone who would give his music a listen in New York and Los Angeles. Denny received numerous "Pass" letters from his demo submissions. However, many years later, the internet came along and changed up the game. An employee of a Music Video Network found The Average Homeboy Demo Video in an old box of viewer submission reels. This anonymous person decided to upload Denny's material to the internet where it became an instant Viral Video. The Demo was featured on the home page of YouTube and most every major entertainment website. Even though the road was long and had twists and turns, millions of people around the world were able to view Denny's original demo video. After more than two decades, Denny Hazen achieved his dream and became a famous rapper.
