Streep, 67, riled up both Mma and NFL fans -- as well as President-elect Donald Trump himself -- with a pointed dig during her speech that had celebs in the audience clapping. "So, Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners," Streep said, criticizing Trump. All of The CW's superhero series will return in the 2017-2018 TV season...
American network The CW draws in millions of viewers on multiple nights each week with its shared universe of DC Comics-inspired superhero series (which airs on Sky here in the UK), so it's hardly a surprise that they've decided to renew Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow for new seasons. But it's still music to our ears.
Arrow season 6, The Flash season 4, Supergirl season 3 and Legends Of Tomorrow season 3 will air on The CW as part of the 2017-2018 fall season. No exact start dates have been set, but based on previous we'd expect them to get started around October time.

Hours before the Golden Globe Awards kicked off Sunday in Beverly Hills, CW president Mark Pedowitz announced at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that he had renewed the bulk of his network’s fall lineup. Among the seven shows picked up for 2017-18 were two — “Jane the Virgin” and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” — that arguably may not still be on the air if their lead performers hadn’t won best TV comedy actress Golden Globes in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Those wins were unexpected at the time they happened, and helped raise the profiles of two shows that got glowing reviews but needed an extra lift to rise above the too-much-tv fray.
The Globes have a penchant for such pleasant surprises. They also yield a lot of Wtf moments. A lot.
