Series focuses its endgame
6 July 2017 | by See all my reviews

'Restitution' suitably brings the season to a close, letting the standoff between Raylan and the Crowes play out, but that's only part of its job. The other is setting up the next (and final) season: Boyd as a bankrobber, and the real reason Ava was given early release. To that end, this is where it's firing on all cylinders. In some ways, the promise is better than the resolution. Unusual for "Justified", but that's this finale in a nutshell.

An uneven season, to be sure.
