18 January 2017 9:46 AM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

NBC’s “This Is Us” slipped a couple tenths from last week — though not if you don’t count the encore airing on the West Coast that NBC included in its final ratings — but still remains the best bang for one’s buck on the broadcast schedule. In the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, “This Is Us” pulled in a 2.6 rating and 9.53 million viewers overall in Nielsen’s preliminary ratings. Lead-in “The Wall,” just given another 20-episode order, drew an impressive 1.7 in the demo and 6.65 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” capped off the night with a 1.6 and 7.04 million viewers.

CBS’ usual Tuesday lineup performed within its range. “NCIS” came in with a 1.9 in the demo and 15.42 million viewers. “Bull” drew a 1.5 and 10.97 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” brought in a 1.2 and 9.16 million viewers.

On ABC, “The Middle” brought in a 1.7 and 6.6 million viewers. “American Housewife” drew a 1.5 and 5.43 million viewers. “Fresh Off the Boat” dipped to a 1.1 and 3.85 million viewers »

NCIS: New Orleans Season 3 Episode 11 Review: Let It Ride

Finally, some storylines get tied up.

Time to celebrate the end of the cartel in New Orleans on NCIS: New Orleans Season 3 Episode 11.

It only took the better part of two seasons to happen.

This episode definitely delineated the differences in approach of the FBI and Pride's NCIS.

Isler is ready to wrap up the cartel investigation after the Justice Department has frozen the assets that Garcia has been using, and let Garcia roam free despite all he's done.

But that's not personal enough for Pride, who confronts Garcia at Eliza's funeral.

I promised [Eliza] I would protect her from you. Now I promising you, one way or another, you're going to pay for this.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 13 Review: Hot Water

Finally, the mole is back...in a big way.

Everyone at NCIS is under fire on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 13.

It's kind of like Ten Little Indians, as one agent after another gets picked off framed for crimes they didn't commit.

Only NCIS is aware of the mole. So none of the arresting officers at several different agencies have any inclination to look past the slam-dunk cases which they've been handed by some anonymous source, no matter how unlikely.

All this time hunting for the mole, and now it seems as if the mole is headed straight at us.

There’s a new boss at the Phoenix Foundation.

After the latest departure and sudden arrest of Director Patricia Thornton (Sandrine Holt), Phoenix Foundation has recruited needed a new director.

CBS announced actress Meredith Eaton will fill in those shoes as a series regular on MacGyver. She will play Matt Webber, the new director of operations and boss to Mac.

According to the press announcement, Matty Webber is a legend in the covert ops world. She was Jack’s (George Eads) superior for 18 months while on assignment in South America.

There’s also a little hint that Jack may not be happy to having her as a boss again.

NCIS: New Orleans Season 3 Episode 10 Review: Follow the Money

3 January 2017 10:25 PM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Like the mighty Mississippi itself, New Orleans seems like a meandering place, where things don't change too quickly.

But that lack of progress isn't a good thing in a TV series. That's why it's good that there were a number of developments on NCIS: New Orleans Season 3 Episode 10.

The series picked right up again with another Cuidad Natal cartel episode, focusing more closely on its New Orleans head, Javier Garcia, finally introduced in NCIS: New Orleans Season 3, Epsiode 8.

Garcia got more interesting this episode. Instead of being just a money-laundering businessman for the cartel, he showed a brutal side, sacrificing several underlings and having his fiancee Eliza gunned down.

Bombastic Isler, who doesn't understand the meaning of subtle, pretty much tipped the hand of law enforcement to Garcia, who just replied nonchalantly in response.

I understand New Orleans can be a really dangerous place.
