Souls That Balance, is a study in the human imagination.
25 February 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

I have had the privilege of a private screening with my brother Pascal Belanger, who is the lead actor in "Souls That Balance"2013, and then again with a group of friends. The only thing wrong with this film is that it is to short, but then that's why it's called a short. "Souls That Balance" I feel is like a clip from the middle of a high-end feature film. It has suspense, intrigue, and truly stirs emotion. The format forces your imagination to search for what really is going on. I was truly impressed with the quality of the acting. The minimal dialogue caused the actors to use facial expression, and posture to tell the story, they did this very effectively. In my unqualified opinion the editing is what really brought the imagination into play. Director, Theran Knighton-Fitt, well done.
