Storyline

Aaron suddenly awakens on March 5, 2014 in his apartment with his wife Priscilla. There is no blackout and everything is functioning normally. Aaron has several attacks of deja vue however as he sees people that he knows - Rachel, Dr. Horn - but can't quite place who they are. He soon realizes - with a bit of help from Charlie, who he dug out of the back of his mind - that it's all a nano-induced dream-like state to get him to repair the deteriorating software code. Goofs

The nanites show Aaron a world with power and all the amenities he lost. But they show him modern day things, companies that didn't exist when the power went out (Simply Orange juice). The nanites couldn't have known what would exist after 1997 (show debuted in 2012 at the 15 year point = 1997). The Matrix didn't come out till 1999 (was mentioned by Charlie and Aaron). See more »

Quotes

Aaron Pittman: Blackout or whatever the hell, that's the dream. I mean, who would even want that nightmare to be real? This- this is real. Got a great house, and I got cold beer, and I've got internet porn and you, and there is nowhere I would rather be.
Priscilla Pittman: I love you. Except for the porn part.
Aaron Pittman: You married a red-blooded American male.

Ep 15, s.2 - Beautiful Creativity... Finally Challenging the Status Quo
9 March 2014 | by (Vancouver, Canada) – See all my reviews

Finally Revolution is amping up the volume, the intellect, the script- writing and I LIKE IT.

Mainstream/Broadcast TV (not specialty networks) has to cater to a PG13 audience... It's hard for adults to truly immerse themselves in these TV series that are meant to be escapes from reality but are so fake you cringe at the sub-plots...

Revolution started off pretty darn slow s.1 and has slowly gained momentum to build into a complex and wonderfully depicted dystopian apocalyptic society.

If you guys marathon this series, you will enjoy it. It's a pleasant and unique story that isn't demented like LOST, not going anywhere...
