Live Action Veggie Tales

Warning: Spoilers
This episode of Bones had some potential to be interesting but it just fell flat.

The body was encased in Kudzu making it difficult to access the remains. However that was only a minor road block for the team. The skull was even broken into a million pieces but that really didn't delay the case at all.

Another aspect of the case that could have been interesting but really wasn't was the obsessive mother. This mom sent hundreds of graphic DMs to the victim but her character was pushed aside until the last ten minutes of the show when we find out she's the killer.

The B plot about Christine's party was sweet. It's super cute to see Bones and Booth trying to create special moments for their daughter when they both had a tough childhood.

The C plot about Clark's book was kind of random. I'm all for adding more depth and details to the character of Clark but I found it really random for Angela, Hodgins and Cam to hate the book but for the book to be picked up by a publisher.

Overall this story had a lot of potential but it was nothing special.

Best part: Booth Bones and Christine playing tag - it is always nice when we get to see them acting as a family who are just having fun

Worst part: the red herring of it being the brother or the brothers wife, at this point I think it is boring to try and fake out the audience by trying to say someone was killed because they were having and affair with their siblings spouse. Also, for the brother to be like "we are both artists and we have an open relationship" just seemed blah and tossed in there randomly to no longer make him a suspect.

Christine is not one years old

Warning: Spoilers
There is no way that child is one. She is running, talking in full sentences, and doing things a three year old or more would be doing. Aging children in shows is one thing but trying to portray her as 1 is ridiculous. The episode itself was at best ok. Not too keen on the Clark book writing as well. If what he wrote was what they repeated there is no way he would be published, especially by the same publisher as bones. I am so glad there are a lot more better and interesting shows in the past and upcoming. I so love this show and wish they would do a reboot of it but I doubt that will happen.

What?

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of those episodes that is hard to fathom. First of all, there is this whole thing with a murder associated with people dressed as vegetables. Then we have Edison and his stupid book. I know enough about publishing to know that that thing would never get published. Especially by a major publisher like the one that publishes Brennan's books. She is a big national mystery writer with enormous world wide influence. Then we have the stuff about the birthday party. For goodness sake, will she ever let her father off the hook? There's even more, including the one man band business. I have to admit Booth looked pretty funny in that outfit. Oh, finally, the poor woman who got arrested at the end. Is it a crime to kill someone for blowing a horn when you don't know he has this delicate heart condition. Admittedly, hiding the body would be an issue, but she is not a killer.

Rapidly Aging Children With Different Actors
XXniteXX4 September 2022
Imdb won't delete the Trivia about this episode about Christine Booths real last name is the same as Christopher Pelant, which has zero relevance, should we put something if someone's last name was Smith, look they have the same last fictional name, let's stop the press and awe over it, people will put any unwanted details. LMFAO

Also the actress they got to play Christine Booth looks NOTHING like David or Emily, now the twins they had before looked like both of them. They always have to age children rapidly for the worst.

Plus Bones is one of my favorite shows and this episode is at the bottom of the barrel, watching grown men dance and sing in vegetable costumes, just so they can sleep with single moms. Guess the writer was drunk while writing this whopper of an episode.
