At a later point in the movie, first time big-budget actor Colson Baker completes a very risky dare. When he celebrates his daring success Colson pretends to have an automatic gun in his hands and sprays bullets wildly into the air. This is a direct reference to his online name he is much better known as, Machine Gun Kelly.
Keeping with the Apple Products theme, when Vee finds herself in the third phase of the game (Prisoner), she is contacted via a 1st generation iMac. The translucent body cover fits right in with the colorful environment the film has.
