A comedy concerning a young man, Bob, who has the comic job of up-righting road pylons on the highway. Bob's life changes dramatically on a rainy night when he stumbles upon a traffic accident. At the scene a dying, old man's last dying act is to hang an eagle skull necklace around Bob's neck. Bob flees his unsympathetic boss, stifling girlfriend and mundane life to return the necklace to its homeland - an Indian reservation a thousand miles away.
