Best Episode by Far!
22 February 2014 | by (Freeport IL) – See all my reviews

I started watching this series just last week and had to catch up with former episodes online. I was hooked by the second one unlike the series Grimm which I gave up after watching six eps and finally realizing that there just was not much character development or depth to the lead characters.

The Tomorrow People on the other hand has a lot going for it. I pray that it will be renewed by the CW because I don't get into watching a lot of series. The only other one I watch regularly is my favorite Supernatural.

As for this show, this episode was absolutely riveting! Of course they ended it on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see the next one on Feb. 26th which just happens to be my daughters birthday. (easy to remember)

As for the plot, Lots of twists and turns and betrayals and shocking information. But nothing prepared me for the ending, where we find out that Stephen's Mother is a TP. I didn't see that coming at all and that's what made that last scene so shocking.

I kept wondering through this whole series when Stephen would tell his Mother what has been going on with him, and it seemed like he came really close to it this time. But then you find out the evil Founder who I just love to hate BTW, reneges on his promise to clear Astrid from Ultra's radar and instead sends the kill squad to not only kill her but it was plain to see they would have killed her Father AND Stephen's own mother.

I also am enjoying the story line between Cara and John. Cara I feel should not have been voted in as a leader. She's SO not a leader, and I totally agreed with John and what he said about him continuing to make decisions when he knows it's the right thing to do, no matter who is the top dog. I mean for Cara to tell John to leave just burned me up. John has done SO much and is so necessary and valuable to their cause and people, to have him up and leave is just plain ludicrous.

Which shows Cara knows nothing about being a true leader. She knows John's capabilities and strengths and his value and she would let him walk out because her ego is damaged. For me this was the best episode I've seen yet by far. Hope to see many more.
