Storyline

Ted and Robin are out in the middle of the night looking for a missing Barney. Their conversation steers primarily to Ted's past love life, and their respective takes on the good and the bad. In this discussion, Ted also talks about when if any is the right time to let go of the things you love. Barney, meanwhile, is out wandering the streets in a drunken stupor. He comes across two young men named Justin and Kyle who are just coming into their sexual awakening. The threesome become mentor and eventually willing students. And after Lily storms out of the hotel room during her and Marshall's fight after he brings up San Francisco, Marshall continues the argument with several of the ghosts that are haunting that room. Trivia

The two younger guys Barney teaches how to live in this episode are based off (and resemble) the creators of the show Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. Very satisfied

This was the best non-mother related episode. I'm glad after the two episodes (Unpause, How Your Mother Met Me)That The season has picked up. I loved how Barney finally passed on his playbook to two new guys to pick up girls with a very good quote - "It's only legendary when your friends are there". Also, when Craig and Carter brought back the balloon and Ted. The symbolism with letting go of the balloon, and finally let go of Robin finally after 7 years (because season 9 is over the summer of 2013). It was a great episode, and I'm starting to feel that there are only 7 episodes left until the end. Until Ted finally meets the true love of his life, and we get that sweet ending we deserve for 9 seasons of awesome television.
