Enjoyable documentary

Warning: Spoilers
The Doctor has accidentally wiped his own memory clean; Clara shows him a book that he keeps in the TARDIS containing his entire 1.200-year history. Thus, a 2-hour journey in the life of this classic figure of British sci-fi begins, a journey that is enjoyable, fast-paced, informative and nostalgic. Alternating between interviews and clips, this documentary focuses on each one of the eleven (up to 2013) screen incarnations of the Doctor, giving fans of the old series plenty of memory-triggers, and people who have never seen the old series (like me) just enough of a taste of each of the Doctors to even be able to determine which ones are most likely to be their favorites if they ever do get to watch it! Other topics like the companions (female and male), the monsters, and the TARDIS herself are also covered. If I have one objection about this program, it's that it could have spent a little more time on the earlier seasons of the show and a little less on a few things that have been very recent by comparison. *** out of 4.
