Storyline

Bio Drama about a 1950's composer/songwriter/singer in Los Angeles, California, selling his songs for $100-$500 to record company runners/henchmen. He was a Grammy Nominee in 1959 at the inaugural Grammys for his song "Guess Who". He tragically died in an auto accident in Hope, Arkansas at the age of 27 the following year in 1960. He was touring in the south with his wife/manager JoAnn and their driver, who also died just after performing for the first integrated (Black/White) audience in Hope, Arkansas.
