Unfortunately this combination from 2 years ago does not really work in my opinion, especially when Jay-Z enters the picture as well. This song sounds very modern and does not fit the visual style of the music video at all. I guess they just wanted to make something special and different with famous Hollywood director David Fincher on board, but it just does not fit together. The song is also not really catchy and I am glad it only runs for roughly 5 minutes compared to some other longer Timberlake Music videos. I still think he has a better voice than he shows us in most his music videos when he sacrifices range for funkiness sadly. As a whole, not a memorable music video and possibly Fincher's weakest work. Not recommended.
