Moloch wants at all cost Washington's Bible, which presumably contains crucial magical secrets. He demands it as ransom for the captain's daughter, whom he threatens to kidnap and kill by sunset unless it's handed over. Carne, who has it, resists girlish pressure to switch into modern 'camouflage' dress. Having learned from the late sheriff's archive that Abbie's sister was possessed by a body-hopping demon, Ichabod foresees that the captain's family hiding in a safe house is futile and takes cunning precautions. Indeed, the demon possesses cop after cop, for some fatally, to get hold of the girl. Written by KGF Vissers

Did You Know?

Ichabod is surprised that there are people allowed to carry guns in "militias," and Abbie comments that it's the 2nd amendment at work. Ichabod then admits that there was considerable concern on that notion although, according to the storyline, Ichabod was buried in the cave long before the Constitution was drafted, and that was some time before the Bill of Rights, including the 2nd amendment, was added in. Therefore, Ichabod could not have known what was going on in regards to how people felt about any of the bill of rights. See more »

pretty simple plot really, demon jumps around from person to person, possesses them, and with a certain artifact.... OK, almost spoiled there but this episode had no surprising twists. But then, they discover a hidden message written in invisible ink in a book, oh yes, Ichabod recognizes the handwriting, it is Washington himself. The text reads.. December 18th 17something. But.. how can it be.. he died on December 14th. Now, is it then absolutely not possible that someone at any point in time writes a date that could just possibly be in the future.. If it had been some message DATED 18th Dec. well.. yes, but they just find the date.

That I am also getting a bit tired of Ichabods most posh English and his insistence on walking around in his 18th century clothes, and the total lack of subtle continuation of the plot, as all clues are immediately identified- it all just to easy. could have been a great show but I give up.
