Remember when the talk of the town was Danny being a socio, well between Charlie and Whitney, I think we have new candidates.

It seems, in a way, the former boy everyone either wanted, or feared, is now being picked off by the new characters on the show. Whitney has snatched Lacey away, quickly after Danny and her broke up, and Charlie has made sure Jo would want nothing to do with Danny. So now all Danny has is himself, and losing everything all over again I assume will lead to a much darker Danny. Or at least, once could hope?

Topic 1: Murder Investigation (Karen)

So while Karen and Jack haven't publicly defined their relationship, intimacy is implied and their old romance seems rekindled to the point Whitney seems prepped to call Danny her step-bro. But, that little tidbit aside, Kyle is really digging into this murder and with Eddie for some reason watching Karen, I guess as a potential culprit, Jack has also become a person of interest. So, being that Kyle likes inviting himself to people's homes and then taking/ finding evidence, he takes a bottle from Jack's garbage and has it tested. Leading him to maybe finding Jack as the possible culprit of the whole moving Vikram's body thing. But, when Karen confronts him he seemingly may not know what she is talking about.

Topic 2: Goodbye Jo (Charlie)

With Charlie really wiggling into Jo's heart, he also makes sure to shut Danny out in the process. Between the whole "he wanted to kill his dad" thing, and him making sure to make Danny seem like his tormentor, I feel heavily reminded of The Good Son with Elijah Wood and Macaulay Culkin. For though the two aren't in any sort of brotherhood, you can see Charlie trying to quickly move into Danny's position in Jo's life and learning from Danny's mistakes. He tells the truth much more quickly, is open about his past, and though as tragic as Danny first seemed, he doesn't have the same baggage, much less he didn't ruin Jo's childhood.

However, Charlie has that creep factor we saw in Danny early on. Like he is hiding more than we will know for now. And though he claims he went into juvie for stealing a car, who knows if that may just have been the thing he was caught doing? But, what I like most about Charlie as a character is that he brings some sense of this show being "Twisted" back into play.

Topic 3: Goodbye Lacey (Whitney, Lacey & Danny)

He isn't alone though. Like with Charlie, Whitney's past is hinted at in a way which surely may inspire conspiracy theories. Part of the reason for this is Jack hints at her quick attachments to people being a problem, much less her hoping from school to school hasn't been fully explained to my memory. Perhaps the most interesting part though is her interactions with, or around, Lacey. As far as I can tell Whitney likes playing games with people, and their lives, but seemingly wants one partner in crime to have fun and create memories with. And, since Danny doesn't seem like a worthy option, Lacey became the pick.

Thus leading to them clubbing in New York, messing with this one married guy's life, mind you he was a skeezer, and then Whitney kissing Lacey. Now, without a doubt she could be bi or lesbian, but at the same time I think Whitney maybe playing with Lacey like Regina used to play with people. Hell, maybe Whitney and Regina may have known each other in the past?

Either way, between Charlie and Whitney, I find myself a bit more interested in Twisted again. For they both seem like such odd characters to the point I am trying to figure out a way in which maybe Charlie moved Vikram's body and Whitney may have killed Regina because she was jealous or something. And I realize these may not be that plausible, but how long has it been since anyone on here seemed sort of compelling by any means?
