All the Ups and Downs of Life Right There on Screen!
reedj78926 January 2015
States of Grace is an incredible documentary about the beauty and fragility of life. Dr. Grace Dammann is an inspiring woman and her courage in the face of tragedy is truly awesome. Her journey after surviving a head-on crash on the Golden Gate Bridge is surprising, painful, funny and bittersweet. She and her family have exposed everything in letting this film get made. The ups and downs are all there on the screen. It is rare to see such an honest and moving portrayal of the human condition represented on the big screen. See this film. You will be grateful to Grace and the directors for sharing this story!

Compelling and Moving Movie
jseelig2 February 2015
States of Grace is a wonderful film. I felt like so many of the story lines that cross during the course of the movie could be spun into its own movie. Without giving too much away, there are many compelling and inspiring people in this movie: I want to know more about Grace's journey and all the people that are a part of it. Even though Grace's journey is filled with many very specific details, the film touches on so many issues that are universal. I am happy to have been able to see this movie in the theater; although it is an intimate film in many ways, it also inspires a strong sense of community and togetherness. Thank you Grace, her family, the filmmakers and everyone involved with this movie!
