Now that she has Kira and her harvested bone marrow, Rachel is holding all the cards. She replaces Delphine with a Dr. Nealon as the facility and thus Cosima's chief physician, not even letting Delphine say goodbye before she is escorted out of the facility. As such, Rachel can use Cosima and Kira as a bargaining chip, which works as Sarah feels she has no other option but to surrender herself to Dyad, although Sarah still stays as defiant as ever under the circumstances. However, some will do anything, even risk their own life, to stop whatever Rachel's grand plan. And on the outside, Mrs. S and Felix, with a little help, believe they may have an inside track on what's happening within the Dyad facility. Sarah ultimately has to decide whether to trust that insider and the promise made. And after the fire at the Johanssen farm, those involved are able to escape they hope to a better life. Helena hopes to reunite with Sarah and Kira, but what happens may be beyond her comprehension. ... Written by Huggo

Did You Know?

Kristian Bruun, Millie Davis, and Drew Davis appear in the ending credits even though they were not featured in the episode. This is because a four-minute scene between the Hendrix family had been filmed, but it had to be cut due to time constraints. This scene, however, appears in the special features on the Orphan Black (2013) season two DVD set. See more »

As Helena has bad motor abilities and isn't used to dance, she does awkward moves and misses the beat when the clone sisters and Felix dance at his loft. In contrast, Helena dances amazingly well at the underground club owned by Olivier in Orphan Black: Parts Developed in an Unusual Manner, with Olivier's tail in her hand, which she cut off earlier. Cosima Niehaus: We're gonna to do an experiment. I want you to try to push your favorite pencil through this paper.
[she holds a piece of paper loosely]
Cosima Niehaus: OK see if you can do it.
[Kira tries and fails]
Cosima Niehaus: Oops. How come that didn't work, I wonder? 'Cause, you know what? You need more... force. OK?
[ask she explains, several brief cuts to Cosima and Scott building a device in their lab]
Cosima Niehaus: So force equals mass... times... acceleration. How can we get the pencil through this paper, do you think?
Kira: We need to make it sharper...

User Reviews

From action to celebration to revelation.
17 July 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This episode hurls us right into the action. Sarah turns herself in to save Kira. However, she and everybody else is betrayed by Rachel. This leads to the tragic death of her father, and the cipher along with him (alledgedly). Luckily, she gets her just desserts; a pencil in the eye! Ouch!

We then get some time to relax. The clones have a dance party to celebrate. Unfortunately, they don't have long to relax afterwards. Sarah is brought out to the country to learn about "castor". This lead to the big twist of the season. It leaves you hungry for more. It also might make Paul relevant again, as he was barely in this season.

Overall, a great season closer that answers many questions and creates many more.
