Finally a german movie without standard story line of german movies. A diverting story with a good portion of funny humor within an gangster story. Until the very end of the movie it´s not clear what happened. Go and watch it.

Something new from german soil

By accident I had the chance to watch this unique and absurd thriller at a german movie theater. I was surprised. Even for genre-fans this film offers an irritating, almost surreal story with a surprising end. Same time it is also a funny homage to all thriller and spy movies. Something new from german soil.

I really enjoyed this dark comedy. It was an unusual film, very quirky and with plenty of plot twists to keep people guessing right to the very end. The characters were colourful and well written. Great cinematography and editing too.

Well shot, well edited, and it has great sound which is refreshing for an independent film. A sharp story and interesting characters will keep you engaged. Definitely one to watch

When I saw the movie the first time i immediately thought: This is a clever german answer to all big mainstream thriller productions , a unique way of entertaining the audience with the surrealism and the humour of violence. The dialogoues are surprising, the actors are well chosen characters that perfectly fit and fill their culty roles. I had great fun watching it and see them die like flies in most surprising ways and situations. Big recommendation.

While reading the title, I started to smile... sounds different to mainstream and finally this one is really surprising.

Lots of fine homage to famous movies, action, fun, kinda slapstick scenes and a "red thread" is "the usual suspects", which I really love, but there are lots of them to find for the viewers. Very good music, really entertaining, always showing different paths and finally a surprising finish... and all with quite unknown actors and only a few hot shots.

Great job and thanks to all; I felt very well entertained and can only recommend this movie... ;-)

This is a fun movie that always keeps you guessing! I really like the absurd twist they brought to the gangster genre. Something you could definitely watch again - unique, entertaining, and unexpected. Really well done!

This film you can visit more than once! And at any time you discover new moments, surprising jokes and dialogues. I love the sense of humour, because in its surrealism you always find true moments. The experience being in another world, in a world of crime and strong characters, fills you up with a feeling of being something special! I can recommend this film absolutely. Watch and feel!

Well the film is a masterpiece of cinematography. I haven't seen a film so clever in it's use of camera and effects. The plot is inventive, funny and surreal. The writer certainly knows how to write for females.

I really don't want to spoil this for you. But trust me you have never seen a film like this before!

This film is an eye-opener for German cinema! Who could have guessed that a German film could be funny. Well This film is! The funny little twists in the film, the good dialogues and the storyline makes it a must see!

...A joy of playing, great pictures and great attention to detail. Add to that...a wonderful Michael Mendl (one of Germay´s great charactor actors), whom you have probably never seen as a singer in a wicked bar.

I have rarely seen such a mental confusing film, moving back and forward between the grotesque and the absurd, with very good, sometimes well-known actors, and finally the double life and ambiguity of a person, regime or system that confuses the senses and brings about one's own mind. A terrific brave very worth watching movie!

This comedic crime thriller had me hooked from the opening scene. We always see hitmen from purely serious angle. Teitelbaum really changes that up in a refreshing way. Director Axel Steinmüller has really made a mark with this film. I can't wait to see what he does next!

Intriguing multi-layered assassin caper

This film is quite the ride. A mystery with assassins vs rival assassins, cops, investigators, espionage, peanut butter... With its Tarantino-esque fractured timeline and its central 'Usual Suspects' style mystery, this film has so many layers that you'll need to follow closely to keep up, but it's worth it. The style is energetic, and it has lashings of humor, plus a few cinematic homages to watch out for. The only weakness is some of the gunfight action is a little hard to follow, and of course if you're not a German speaker you'll need the subtitles. Recommended!
