Warning: Spoilers
. . . until that final helicopter ride, but Daffy Duck's unable to leave well enough (aka, the "Matter Transmogrifier") alone in DUCK DODGERS, JR. (the only part of this that I'm rating and reviewing, since it's the only third of this apparent triptych that is included on disc 2 of the Warner Bros. DVD set titled THE ESSENTIAL DAFFY DUCK). This leaves Daffy's kid sidekick, Plucky, to poignantly query just before DUCK DODGERS, JR.'s end credits, "Does anyone want to buy a slightly used Universe?" Which is eerily similar to what most Americans are asking each other, in this our Final Week of Freedom, "Does anyone want to buy a slightly used Constitution?" Few of us hold out any hope that new USA Ruler Vlad "Mad Dog" Putin will allow us to ever again watch the 1,000 subversive Looney Tunes. For those of us NOT fluent in Russian, Putin's Puppet Rump has locked down his APPRENTICE series and its soon-to-be-numerous spin-offs as the exclusive English language content allowed and permitted to be on American screens into our foreseeable Perpetuity (if any). When Putin's hackers empty YOUR bank account, retirement fund, social security, and virtual gold bullion\Bitcoin vault, just remember that Rump warned you this week, "Shame on you for not buying Rump University's Billion Dollar Anti-Virus Program; it's all YOUR fault, you fool!" Though I edited Rump's rant slightly for sanity and space, the previous sentence is otherwise a direct quote. Good luck on surviving until February 1!
