Ever since Sheldon made the major scientific discovery of how to stabilize a new, stable super heavy element, Sheldon has been miserable promoting his discovery since he and the world knows he came across the discovery solely by an error on his part. Even being touted as possibly winning a Nobel Prize, albeit in Chemistry, makes the situation worse. Competing actions by Leonard and Wil Wheaton make Sheldon come to a different perspective on the matter. Meanwhile, Bernadette is upset with Howard for lying to her about Raj and Cinnamon's stay with them, which she thought was only going to be for one night, but which she learns is going to be a for a week. Raj ends up having a profound effect on the Wolowitz/Rostenkowski household. Written by

The pronunciation of Barry Kripke's name and specifically in one episode (The Discovery Dissipation) Sheldon's mockery of Barry's speech impediment by calling him "Bowie", is a reference to John Ross Bowie, the actor behind Barry Kripke. See more
At one point we see Howard playing a video game and loudly proclaiming that Batman will defeat the Joker and save Gotham City. While this is an obvious reference to the release of a recent video game, Howard is clearly holding a Xbox One controller. At the time of airing no Batman video game existed on the Xbox One. The only Batman game he could have been playing was only released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, not the Xbox One. While a new Batman game has been announced for the Xbox One, it was announced after the episode aired and the game's developers have made if clear that game, when it does get released, will not feature the Joker. So what is Howard playing? See more

I've been told that the act of forgiveness frees the person doing the forgiving from harboring dark, and ultimately self- destructive, emotions. While there is no guarantee that the transgressor will be relieved of shame and guilt, the forgiver will always feel better. In other words, forgiveness is, first and foremost, self-serving. Now I am all about self-serving, so for the last few years I have been practicing a sort of forgiveness mantra. Upon awakening and before retiring, I visualize those who have harmed me and imagine myself flowing love and compassion toward them. Additionally, I wish for them to have everything they could possibly want. I'm happy to report that it's working. Slowly, over time, anger has become resentment has become indifference has become amusement has become affection. And now I'm free and my heart is full.
