Chin makes a startling discovery regarding the murder of his police officer father, while off a duty, at a convenience store.

Turns out that Chin's wife's brother was a problem from day one and because of influence, Chin was able to get him off from charges that he had stolen a car. As the years passed, the young man became a hoodlum involved in serious drug trafficking. Guess who had killed Chin's father so many years before?

The make-up artist did a phenomenal job in showing Chin and Kono, his cousin, 15 years before; although, Kono looked as if she had a mop on her hair.

The episode also highlighted what internal investigations of police are like. They really go for jugular in attempting to provoke the person they are questioning. Chin looses his cool, but Steve is there to help him along the way.
