A Good Start To What Seems Like A Promising Series.
29 December 2013 | by See all my reviews

Turbo was a film I thought was OK but then it kind of grew on me. Now that the Netflix Series is out, I decided to take a look at a few episodes of this show. Well, Here goes nothing.

The show starts with Turbo finding out he has a city. Yep. A City. A Movie Theatre, A City Hall, A Racing Track, Everything. So yeah, he has got all of it. But a Tiger Beetle wants his fame and if he wins a race beating Theo then he will get everything and burn his town down.

He tries to train but the track is filled with twists and turns but soon he gets the hang of it.

The episode has some good animation. In fact, I think the animation in the show is better than in the movie. Mainly because it feels nice and original. Characters keep on developing which is nice. The storyline for this pilot is good. Mainly because it is interesting.

Some of the puns are dumb but there are some good jokes in this episode too.

Overall, A Good Episode. Ill keep on watching for a few more episodes.

Episode Rating: 76/100 B
