Most of this is pretty excruciating, with April and Dexter, one of the most aggravating couples in the history of television, existing in a state of delusion and everyone tiptoeing around them instead of giving them a reality check. So Casey and Tamara pretend they're still a couple instead of letting them know that relationships don't work the way they think they do.Sasha gets ignored and gives tips to Casey on the quiet, then Sid turns up to interrupt just as she's giving the selfish pair a much deserved serve.Even Heath checking on Casey manages to be annoying since he doesn't give Kyle the credit for spotting the problem.
Fortunately, the C-plot of Montgomery's manipulations is surprisingly compelling. While the explanation for why Matt helped her is a bit pat, the scene where he shines a mirror up to her true nature and the mask slips for a moment and shows the desperate failure underneath the cold bully is brilliant drama.
