Homecoming is upon us and, with that, love is in the air. And as most of the main characters hook up, one couple breaks apart.

Warning: Spoilers
With the murder investigation coming to a close, though a new one opening soon, Twisted decides to give its characters a day of peace. One in which new characters can enter and find themselves a match. A night to remember, you could say. But, while for almost everyone there is either new love or a rekindle of former flames, a secret comes out which sets one relationship in flames.

Topic 1: I Don't Deserve To Be Happy – Jo & Danny

Between Danny and Jo, both seemingly are heavily weighed down by the guilt of Vikram's death. Danny more so, of course, since it was his dad and many questions are left unanswered, but due to their suffering others suffer as well. Well, more so just Lacey. Rico finally gets to move on from Jo with a new girl, and Jo gets her 2nd shot at nabbing a bad boy through Charlie. As for Danny, with a new secret driving a wedge between him and Lacey, he tries again to do that old "You should keep your distance thing," despite Lacey doing everything she could to make sure Danny wouldn't' be in jail.

And with this whole idea of him imposing his own punishment on himself, when Charlie asks if he can ask Lacey out, Danny gives his blessing. Which confuses the hell out of Lacey since she wants Danny more than ever, and this leads her to think that perhaps, despite her helping to get him off, maybe her hiding him before is the reason he is distant, but wait! She dropped all her friends for him, so that can't be it. Then, with a push from Jo, he decides to go to Homecoming and makes an ass out of himself and ruins the night for Lacey. But, all things considered, who'd think their love affair would come to us easy?

Topic 2: A Man's Secrets – Charlie, Tess & Kyle, and Jack

Going back to the subject of Charlie, we learn that Charlie is Danny's former juvie roommate and they even have a bracelet which commemorates their time together, cue an "aw." And, from what it seems, Charlie is looking toward Danny to be his rock, and friend, for adjusting to being out seemingly is hard. He hasn't really made friends yet, the first girl he liked rejected him, and this secret of what his past is seems to be eating at him. Sadly though, we have no idea what he did to end up in juvie, but likely will soon. What is known though is he decides to switch his sights from Lacey to Jo, and since Danny talked about both of them a lot in juvie, he isn't necessarily unfamiliar with Jo. But, with Jo still being sort of down about how her life is, Charlie had to put in some effort, but he did end up making her laugh and maybe winning her attention.

But, while Charlie's secrets seem to be something on Danny's level, between Jack and Tess, someone is hiding something dark. Starting with Tess, to get her out the way, Kyle finds out about her knowing where Vikram is, and she admits to knowing and speaks on how he was there for a dark time in her life. What is said dark time? Who knows, but it seems their marriage will be on the rocks for a while due to this discovery. Now, when it comes to Jack, remember how Vikram said the mob was after him? Something tells me that Jack either left before things got bad, or was part of the mob situation and left while the getting was good. But, with him coming onto the program, there has to be a bigger reason than him getting with Karen and playing surrogate daddy to Danny. He mentions his daughter, Whitney, and I think likely something happened to her, kidnapped or whatever, which maybe the reason he is back around and probably looking for Vikram, or maybe looking into this 10 million dollar insurance policy Karen mentioned, which maybe money Jack has to owe since Vikram went missing.

Topic 3: A Night to Remember – Danny & Rico

But, going back to the Danny and Lacey thing, while the homecoming ends on a sour note, the night as a whole doesn't. You see though Danny, at first, seemingly approaches Jack because he can see him being good to his mom, and having some answers about his dad, it sort of evolves into Jack being a surrogate father figure. One who can work on a car with him, give advice, and be what his dad really wasn't, perhaps. And, the first good piece of advice, and help, is him fixing a Porsche for Danny to drive and telling him to win back Lacey.

And while Lacey and he make up, and it is really cute, you know how I love Rico right? Well, Rico got himself a girl named Andie who, to me, is like an Asian version of Emma, from Bates Motel, minus the sickness aspect. And despite Lacey and Danny being together, Jo and Charlie on their way, and maybe a rekindling between Karen and Jack, those two, Rico and Andie, are definitely my favorite couple. If just because Rico just seems so sweet that who wouldn't want him to be happy?
