A very nice and enjoyable episode
16 June 2014 | by (Peru) – See all my reviews

I liked a lot this episode, and it could be easily considered as one of the best moments (so far) of the fifth season of "Regular Show": It was fun, heartwarming and very enjoyable to watch.

I think that while Rigby is still letting his impulsive behavior to get him in trouble along with his friends, the character development showed in previous episodes had a solid effect here, specially concerning his relationship with his brother Don. Sure, he is still a flawed character, but clearly he had matured since the beginning of the series in a subtle, but noticeable manner.

In my opinion, I think that is better when the characters of a fictional work had the chance of "grow up" and truly learn from their mistakes instead of being always the same (Or even worse, becoming a worse, one-dimensional version of themselves. That was what sadly happened with The Simpsons. That happened with Family Guy and The Fairly OddParents. But fortunately, "Regular Show" seems to be going in the right direction)
