"The Goldbergs" has been a textbook pleasant surprise; a show I'd written off but turned out to be pretty binge-worthy. It's not the '80s that sells it, it's the characters.
And 'Livin' on a Prayer' (finally) gives us something on Murray's halcyon days . . . before Barry steals the episode in a desperate bid to win over the hot girl. It's the kind of party that guarantees a several-week grounding and a fleeting glimpse of high school fame. What makes this memorable is that he's at his Barryest, totally letting his freak flag fly. It's an excellent way to cap off the season, and I'm ready to dive into the next.
