Did You Know?

Lois tells Peter that she bought tickets to the "grand opening of the biggest water park in all of Rhode Island." Peter should have known that they were going out of state since they are on a plane & already live in Rhode Island. There was no need to get on a plane. But then again, Peter is self proclaimed "retarded" as stated in an earlier episode. See more »

A mishmash of the worst stereotypes
22 December 2013 | by (Japan) – See all my reviews

that Americans have towards the mistreated country of Italy. Many of which date back to an era already dead and buried for decades. I was not even ripped a laugh, it only made a great pain ... The characterization gives an overall negative impression of Italian people. Not that there is not a negative side in there, but still, the only impression one can get is just focusing on the negative aspects ONLY, which denigrates an entire population based on the assumption that those are the common traits that can be found. Dirty, mafia, ignorant, playboy etc. Huge mistake. Also it shows the kind of attitude and culture of the people behind the show, very disappointing, with racist comments, not even subtle, but right in the face. Don't get me wrong, I use to love the show, and I don't suffer a lack of humor, but I'm sick and tired of this kind of representation of Italians around the world. Enough already. In conclusion, that's not funny, at all, it's awful.
