Out of circumstance, Leonard admits to Sheldon that he still has in his possession a DVD rental from seven years ago that was under Sheldon's name, and that Leonard was supposed to return. After a good amount of time passed, Leonard figured to keep the DVD since nothing bad had happened. Leonard never told Sheldon about it as he knew Sheldon would "overreact". On the contrary, Sheldon outwardly remains relatively calm, but he figures that Leonard needs figuratively to walk a mile in his shoes to understand how upset he really is about what Leonard did. He makes Leonard do something that he knows will bother him until he returns the DVD, namely wear an ugly wool sweater against his bare skin, the sweater to which Leonard is probably allergic. To prove a point, Leonard agrees to Sheldon's payback. But Sheldon has in his possession some information that he knows will make it a little more difficult for Leonard to endure what Leonard believes will be an easy task. Still, Amy tries to ... It is well established that Sheldon is incapable of lying, keeping secrets or deceiving anyone (The Loobenfeld Decay; The Irish Pub Formulation; etc...). However, in this episode he manages to keep the fact that he paid for the DVD secret for seven years. It totally goes against his character. See more »

Lucy briefly returns in "The Itchy Brain Simulation" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
20 November 2013 | by See all my reviews

In this ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Leonard discovers a DVD in his junk box he had rented with Sheldon's card and had forgotten to return all those years ago with Sheldon and Penny as witnesses. Sheldon does not get upset and let's Lenny find a way to resolve this by letting him wear a gift sweater given to him by a relative that he also put in his junk box since the video store in question is now closed! Meanwhile, Penny-at her workplace with Amy and Bernadette-discovers Lucy, Raj's ex, as a waiting customer and confronts her about the way she broke up with him, which was by e-mail. I'll stop there and just say this was another hilarious ep of this show and a great way to bring back someone who livened many an ep during the last season. And since Raj can now talk to women in public places without aid of drink, he's more funny than ever! Oh, and about Sheldon here, wow, I didn't think you had it in you to be so crafty! So, yeah, that's a recommendation for "The Itchy Brain Simulation".
