Rick and the others are still prisoners in the boxcar but the time of reckoning has come. They prepare to take on their captors by making weapons from whatever they can find and just wait for them to open the boxcar door. Those in charge however are one step ahead of them. Not far from Terminus Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith hear gunfire and soon after overhear someone talking about Michonne on his walkie talkie. Eugene may of been lying about being a doctor, but he is still extremely intelligent, so he should of known that the Human Genome Project is not a military project and does not work on defense against biological weapons. The only place in the country where research of any kind dealing with biological weapons is done is at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) in Fort Detrick, Maryland. Alex: [Gareth and his people talk while locked in a train car in a flashback] We should never have put up the signs. What the hell did we think was gonna happen? We brought them here.

This is what I'm talking about!
13 October 2014 | by (Australia...) – See all my reviews

My God Wasn't this one hell of an intense start to season 5 of The Walking Dead. The episodes starts essentially straight after the end of season 4, continuing the shows rapid rise in form over its past 4 episodes.

What we experience in this episode is intense visceral action, directed by Greg Nicotero, that The Walking Dead does so darn well. We are also given a bit of history about Terminus itself which is nice. But my god the real star of this episode was Carol, played with conviction by Melissa McBride. She was an incredible presence throughout this gruelingly intense episode.

Overall, if this is what we can come to expect from season 5, then bring it on! My body is ready to weather the oncoming onslaught of blood and emotion. 9/10. P.S: Stay after the credits if you want to crap your pants with excitement! Trust me... It is worth the clean up.
