Plot Summary

A young theatre director Petr Dresler accepts an offer to direct the show "Last Train to Sussex Has Gone" in a great Prague theatre. The play is a modern piece of art from a famous author from Great Britain. The main characters of this show will be played by two famous actors ("Bardi" - is a word in plural, which means old and acclaimed actor) Zdenek Lorenc and Emil Stroupeznický. Everybody knows that this play could be an absolute success or an absolute failure. For Dresler this is the opportunity of his career, but he also knows that the failure could mean it's his last job in the business. Dresler is very naive and he did not expect that collaboration with these two old actors would be so difficult. One of them is a great professional, focusing on the quality of the show, but the second actor is a "prima donna", always thinking about himself. These two old dogs do not like each other. But the two actors must work together to make the show a hit. Otherwise it will be not only the end of their career, but also of their lives. Written by Anonymous
