Storyline

Newly widowed Kathy plans to skip out on decking the halls and trimming the tree this Christmas, trying to avoid anything that will bring back memories of her late husband. The only Christmas tradition she will observe is baking cookies for her friends, a passion since she was a child. When Kathy meets handsome Christmas tree shop owner Tim, their undeniable chemistry - along with an ornament Tim gives her that symbolizes hope-helps Kathy open up to the joys of the season again. With the support of her best friend Jenna, and the budding relationship with Tim, Kathy begins to embrace the hopeful message of the ornament. Although Kathy wants to take a chance on Tim, she struggles to find the balance between preserving the memory of her husband and moving on with her own future. Is the Christmas ornament a sign that she can have a hopeful future? Written by Anonymous

Goofs

Tim tells Kathy that he was first attracted to her when they first met, when he saw her place upright a small angel ornament on a table in his gift shop so that it would not fall off the table. When Kathy straightened the ornament, Tim was not in the gift shop, and based on the setup of the store there is no way he could have seen her do it through the window of the store even if he was just outside. Nice Film
26 June 2017 | by See all my reviews

Hallmark up its game with this film. The story is believable. The people come across as real. The situation plausible. The chemistry between the leads "GREAT".

In this film Kathy lost her husband about a month after she and him opened up a bicycle shop. After less than a year the business is struggling. At the same time she meets a handsome Christmas lot owner. Her friend is trying to get her to go out with the guy (Cameron Mathison). So what her friends does is she buys a Christmas Tree from and has him deliver it to her home.

Of course the guy has some baggage but he is someone most people would love to land. His dream is to open up a place where Christmas is celebrated all year long. He also wants Kathy to be there with him. Kathy gets cold feet real fast.

To give anything else away would be a crime. If you love Christmas movies and films about adults you will enjoy this.
