Locked-up in a Texan FBI facility by agent Abbott, who threatens with a murder trial, Patrick doesn't give in for months, sticking to his demands. He's finally 'given a chance at redemption' on haughty agent Kim Fischer's ad hoc team to search for missing New York software genius Abel Schneiderman, who wrote crucial financial programs, able to disturb Wall Street and the world economy. Patrick concentrates on Abel's gypsy wife Defiance Schneiderman and their Vietnamese landlord Mr. Nguyen, ignoring a ransom demand, then escapes. FBI analyst Jason Wylie joins the team by proving his whiz talent trough Choi. Jane is still in FBI custody and refuses to work for them unless Lisbon joins him. When they go to New York to search for a missing computer programmer who programmed some very sensitive material. Lisbon agrees to accompany him. They start by talking to the man's girlfriend who's a gypsy. Jane claims to be a psychic and manages to convince her, he is. She says she has her own psychic who appears to have vanished. They go to the roof of their apartment building and Jane decides to bolt. He makes sure they find him and when they do, Fisher's about to send him back and be tried for murder when he mentions there's a body on the roof. She doesn't believe him but she goes there and finds it. They learn the body is the psychic. Jane thinks the programmer killed him and why but is wrong.- Written by firstname.lastname@example.org
