We get to see the depth of Rebekah's mistake in getting her father to New Orleans.
Klaus is in recovery after Elijah pulls out the witch's knife from him. Elijah asks Cami to feed him with her vervain-laced blood and talk to him to hopefully get him to not kill Rebekah.
Rebekah and Marcel try to flee by car but realize this will never work without a cloaking spell. They turn around hoping to kill the resurrected witches and bring back Davina to do the spell. With the help of Thierry they manage to bring Bastiana and Genevieve in the same room. Sabine is busy distracting Elijah with a concoction that is supposedly the cure for the spell she put on the werewolves. Hayley hugs Elijah, thanking him for coming back and giving her the cure.
Klaus explains to Cami the depth of the mistake that Rebekah made. Their father came to New Orleans and witnesses Rebekah with Marcel in the pub. Next he meets Elijah face-to-face and wants to know where Klaus is. At the theatre Klaus is sitting ready to enjoy the performance when he senses his father. His father has compelled the audience to laugh and enjoy the show which is Marcel on a cross and the girl that Klaus slept with dead. The Originals leave and watch as the theatre goes up in flames. Rebekah cries out for Marcel. Klaus takes Rebekah and runs while Elijah offers to stay back to hold their father off.
This is Celeste's revenge. Elijah has to choose between killing her and not giving the cure, making Hayley hate him or to give Hayley and her people the cure. Hayley will end up leaving him. While this is going on Celeste knows that Marcel and Rebekah are back trying to kill the witches to resurrect Davina to do the cloaking spell. She has also put a boundary which Originals can enter but cannot leave. She has the ability to jump to other bodies after death so she kills herself with a rock. Before doing so she tells Elijah he has to live with the fact he might not know if his next lover is her. However she wakes up in her own body - this is due to Monique going along with Elijah's spell that will ensure the witches' power stays and doesn't leave with her. Elijah goes to her where she wakes up with a sheet, no clothes on. She pleads with him in French with a beautiful accent. He kills her.
The Originals find themselves together. Elijah is desperate to protect Rebekah and Klaus is determined to kill her and Marcel.
