Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - or also known as The Irregular at Magic High School is a new anime that has been release in the year 2014.
Two siblings known as Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba are send to the 1st High school of magic in Japan "The elite of the elite school" each of which got there specific set of talents that seem to go far above what normal 1st years should be like.
What I love about this anime is that Magic isn't a simple "Tada" and there is a ball of fire. No, the Magic in this world is scientific and uses the particles around us to utilize that magic and make physical changes in the world. Modern day Magic is used through a CAD device allowing magicians to program these devices with specific magical sequences to help them activate. In another sense Magic is programmed into a device where only specific individuals can make the actual spell happen.
The idea behind the real magic isn't the only thing I love, I truly enjoy the main character Tatsuya Shiba who alone makes the anime quite interesting. The music, Graphics and overall feeling of the anime are all well above average.
The only thing I find lacking is the rather slow start and the fact that the series gets better with time. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is truly very enjoyable to watch and seems to be quite undervalued at the moment so tell your friend at family!
