Quotes

Chief Wayne Unser: I have no doubt that you could raise these boys. I know how much you love them. But you got to realize this isn't 1967 anymore, sweetheart. This life, it ain't romantic or free. There's no path to anything that makes any sense. It's just dirty and sad. And we both know it's only going to get worse.

Six Years in the Making
2 January 2014 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

This episode is the possibly one of the most pivotal in the show's six year history and is quite literally essential viewing. When the show began, Jackson Tellar was very close with his stepfather and club president Clay Morrow. How things have changed! I guess Clays killing of Jackson's real father and attempted murder of Jackson's wife Tara really did make family matters difficult. Tonight it all comes to an end when Jackson frees Clay from prison only to kill him. This has the added bonus of bringing Jackson a little closer with his estranged wife who steps in to help the wounded after the botched prison transport interruption. It is an action-packed episode and definitely not to be missed. In true SAMCRO fashion, there is ;violence, emotion and a whole lot of double crossing. You won't be disappointed except maybe if you're a fan of Ron Perlman (but we all know every character on this show has a limited shelf life).
