John Bigg's surname is a play on "bigot", which alludes to the character being a parody of Bill O'Reilly.
The only members of the original crew not to appear on screen are the main camera operator, Dan Randall, and sound recordists Jan Thomas Halsvik and James Potts, who were not present during the filming of the climactic studio scene, where most of the crew appeared as the on-screen studio crew.
