There are many references in this episode to the novel "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien. In attempt to disprove Wendy's claim that Kim Kardashian has the body of a hobbit, Ye keeps comparing Kim's qualities and hobbies to those of hobbits, especially Bilbo Baggins: she is heavier than shown in her pictures; she has a friend named Gandalf who is a wizard; she does not live in a hole in the ground; she smokes a pipe and can blow rings that go over her head; she does not turn blue when goblins are near; her TV show "Keepin' Up with the Kardashians" is about short, loud, little people living in a fantasy world; she hangs out with her dwarf friends; she went once to kill a dragon and took his gold, etc. Ironically, most of those references support Wendy's claim rather than refute it, that Kanye becomes confused and calls Kim repeatedly to make sure she is not a hobbit.
