Picking up immediately after the spellbinding events of the Season One finale, Ichabod finds himself buried alive in a coffin; Abbie is trapped in purgatory; Ichabod's wife, Katrina, has been kidnapped by the Headless Horseman; Capt. Frank Irving is behind bars for a murder he did not commit; and Abbie's sister, Jenny, is among the wreckage of a horrific car crash. These events were due, in large part, to the shocking revelation that Henry Parish, the trusted friend of Ichabod and Abbie, is actually Ichabod and Katrina's son and the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse. Now, with Henry's emergence as the Horseman of War, alongside the Headless Horseman. Written by Jiilo_Kim

a very good start

Overall, the premiere of sleepy hollow season 2 was an amazing start. It definitely makes you want to watch more of it. In the beginning while we are waiting to see what is going on with Incabot Crane who is trapped in the grave his son made, the first scene is something to raise a lot of questions. What happened? How did the get out? As the scene continues the unexpected happens and that is the first hit in the first five minutes. In the next minutes the action is unstoppable, it is made clear that this season is about to be about the war between the good and the bad, the action gets quite darker and it is not so much about the original story of sleepy hollow and the headless horseman. We see finally the two sisters becoming a team with Crane, without this teaming up being too expecting or too boring. It definitely makes you wanna see what is going on in the next episodes, since it is not clear yet, what happens to the chief, what the plans are now that the key is destroyed from the evil side, what is going to be done in order to get Katrina out of the hands of the horseman, what happens now that Crane is finally familiar with the technology and the reality, how is he going to use that in order to win the war and will from now and on the headless horseman have a name and a ...head?. The only thing is that we don't have yet the introduction of new interesting cast, which might get boring, if the whole story goes around the same six people.
