Meddling moms
15 September 2017 | by See all my reviews

Two Goldberg parents, two different wars. Beverly scrapping with a rival helicopter mom, and Murray in an irrational standoff with a rental store over a movie. The Beverly side of things is pure fluff, but the snarky video store clerk (Martin Starr in an ideal role) helps liven up the other half. And in the end, the resolution between father is son is both sincere and gratifying.
