Lovely Episode [9/10]

My Reaction / Review for Hannibal Season 2 Episode 3: Episode 2 was great and I gave it a rating of 8.8/10. Things seem pretty dark for Will right now, all people believe that he is a serial killer. Hannibal enjoys all the chaos, pure evil. Does Hannibal want to free Will? He probably is the one who sent the ear so... this way it seems like there is a killer out there and Will is innocent. The way things are going its a matter of time before Will is free. So is Hannibal killing people so Will can be free? After all its obvious at this point that Hannibal cares deeply about Will. Wow, he murdered the judge? This is so extreme, bravo Hannibal. Overall a great episode, my rating is 9/10.

Someone Has A Thing For Ears!!!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with more crazy dreams from Graham. Then we proceed to a court hearing. Surely not a trial, there's no jury there so it must be a court hearing to see if there is enough cause to proceed to trial.

Haha, a package was delivered to Graham's attorney.

+1 Star for the opening scenes, once again. Lovely.

Crawford seeks solace once again in Lecter's lair. Oh both of them certainly do love the Lecter wine cellar.

Doh!

-1 Star for Freddie Lounds just putting her hand on the bible and say she swears to tell the truth. That's not the procedure nor do I think it's ever been done that way. I could be wrong!!! But I don't like it!!

So during this 'trial' another murder is committed, the body arranged to be very similar in appearance to copy a crime that Graham is on trial for. Is this enough to show that Graham is not the real killer? That the real killer is still out there??

Lecter visits Graham again , to show pictures from the new murder. Graham gives his opinion on the picture from the new murder. Lecter pretends not to know anything himself, pretending not to be the man Graham thinks he is.

Haha, Lecter is called to the stand to testify on Graham's behalf. Graham looks at Lecter and he sees the STAG, the killer. He sees Lecter for what he is. Lecter testifies in Graham's favor, and the prosecutor plays it right and gets Lecter's testimony stricken.

The Judge, shame on him for doing that. He gets.....removed, from the case!

+1 Star for the Judge being....removed!

And no real big events at the very end.

This episode gets a good, 6/10

Shake my head

I truly enjoy this series. It deviates way off from the movies, but throws some little things in here and there that get a fans attention. So thumbs up for that. It's definitely an interesting and well acted take on Hannibal mythos. But these last few episodes of the trial have me questions some of the writing. A huge hole that bothers me is the statement that Will and his neurologist faked the encephalitis diagnoses to explain his murderous deeds. But when he WAS hospitalized and TREATED for the exact diagnosis they say was being faked, by a real life neurologist to that was still alive and didn't know Will previously, they still say the whole thing was made up. They say it repeatedly. Now there's some other things in the trial that are ridiculous, but this one is glaring considering the original defense they chose. With that said I do enjoy the show. Just not the last few episodes.
