Goofs

Fitzsimmons discuss the fact that Lydon spends a lot of time playing Minecraft, running a rather nasty mob, not just as a pigman, but a zombie pigman. In Minecraft a "mob" is any entity other than a player that moves and acts, and a zombie pigman is a mob, but actually not a very aggressive one. Additionally, it is the only type of Pigman in the game, there is no non-zombie pigman. See more »

Quotes

Leo Fitz: Miles Lydon, not Skye - that's to all of our relief.
Phil Coulson: [to Skye] You know him.
Skye: Every hacker in the world knows him.
Jemma Simmons: Not just the hacker world. He infiltrated the *Kremlin*
Leo Fitz: Yeah, the picture of, uh, Putin shirtless on horseback, that was his hack.

Skye gets Scorched
23 October 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A Street Magician in Honk Kong shows off a little Magic Trick, and gets kidnapped as a reward. The guy was a blip on SHIELD's Radar, but now he is a fly on a Windshield. It could not have happened to a nicer guy.

It was about time we got back to "Centipede" and their connection to 'Extremis'. Why do they want this lowly magician "Renshu Tseng" (Louis Ozawa Changchien who was "LARX" in Bourne Legacy)? What starts out as a re-kidnapping mission turns Coulson's little group inside out.

Sky's little "Rising Tide" hacker group leaked out info on this guy and she has to chase down one of her own, someone she had a history with. Clothes get taken off, Skye gets busted. Knew it was gonna happen, but not this way. The not-too-poor sap helps them track down where they are holding Tseng and raid the place.

Somehow, Tseng's blood is resistant to the "Explode Violently" phase of Extremis, and that's what she wants, the Girl in the Flower Dress. Also the "Doctor" from the Pilot who was running the Clinic that blew up gets blown up herself when things get a little out of Tseng's hand.

But the Flower-Girl gets away with everything. Both Skye and her friend now have to wear bracelets that prevent computers from working near them, and Skye's big secret comes out - But she don't know what it is, cos it's been redacted by SHIELD.

How is our little group of misfits gonna recover from this? Remember from last week, Coulson was handing out "Second Chances" - Will he do it for Skye?

It just seems like a lot of this unfolding story revolves around her, we thought she was "Rising Tide" - A Hacker who revealed secret information into the World. A chick who lives in a Van outside of a Coffee Shop with Free WiFi, Right? Either she is Tony Stark's illegitimate daughter or something else is happening.

I didn't think this series could get better after B'Elanna Torres directed last weeks episode, but it just did. So on one hand we have a network of people who have built-in X-ray Spex who are controlled by other people who have X-Ray Spex, and on the other we have guys that can explode in an Extreme way. And never the twain shall meet?
