When the team is in Austin. The first shot of Skye and Grant look like they are actually in Austin. Which is green scene shot? But when Grant starts chasing Miles. Fifth Street doesn't look like what was being shown. I think the directors got confused between fifth street and sixth street. So I know for a fact that they didn't shot this scene in Austin. Because none of the buildings that Phil were passing looks a thing like what that area looks like. See more »

Terrible and Stupid!
11 November 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Spoiler alert. So let me get this straight, somehow a suspect that avoids a high speed pursuit gets back to his hideout, where one of "team" is awaiting him, somehow sneaking off a jumbo jet with only 2 vehicles available to her... and even though the entire team is in constant communication during the pursuit, she is able to just disappear from them to have sex with the said suspect... yeah... right. Oh, but apparently the whole post-canoodling conversation is overhead by another team-member that's found them out, yet she says nothing about the canoodler's admittance of being a double-agent. Yeah, right... again! Then once the whole team finds out, no one thinks twice about allowing the canoodler back on the plane and into the group with just a slap on the wrist. By the way, this is also the time the said canoodler, who's whole shtick is that she's against SHIELD's oppression of individual rights, COMPLETELY caves in her beliefs to agree that it's okay for SHIELD to detain people without ANY due-process. Never-mind the "shoot-out" at the end where somehow the bad guy doesn't move at all when he's got the SHIELD agents pinned down but all of a sudden is in the exact right place to get rid of an evil scientist without also having enough power to melt the door the titular character fled behind... riiiiggggghhhhhtttt yet again! Even the 9 yr. old in the house rolled his eyes at just how bad the writing of this episode was. Jumping the shark in the 5th episode... I wonder what Vegas' odds were? I tried to give this show a chance, even with the caricatures that are the two scientists of the team and the completely wooden "loner" soldier, I really tried to like this show. But I just don't see how they can overcome this abortion of an episode.
