Alex Beltman hates ''everything'' and with that makes criticism to a varieties of subjects and for that use a lot of black comedy (and sometimes silly too) to prove his point, being both serious and funny at the same time.
Leon Thomas of Blisted Thumbs Podcast and Word Funk fame brings us insightful analytical interpretations on the medium of film. But alas, Johnny Maloney and Austin Yorkie have not made it onto this program, well, Johhny's appeared once, but Austin Yorkie hasn't yet! Leon Thomas commented most recently on Fight Club, in which he brought up countless theories within thirty minutes (While most of his videos are ten or so minutes), which made me seriously feel like I had to view once more for each theory given. He has also talked about little tricks in viewing David Lynch's films, re-adaptation, and the layers of Lebowski. A great double feature viewing of his would be "Black and White" and "Red Dead, Yellow Mellow", in which he talks about color as well as the lack of it. For more of his comedy, I suggest viewing earlier episodes (i.e. The end of his David Lynch video and his closing statement of "Lost Innocence"). If you want to grasp nuances of film, check out his work. And for more comedic workings of his, watch whatever you can find of the BT Podcast and watch his weekly Thursday pod-cast Word Funk.
