Show used to promote anti-science?
23 November 2013 | by (new york) – See all my reviews

I'm wondering who "inspired" the writer to pursue the fluoride theme. Fluoridation is a politically charged issue with more communities stopping and rejecting fluoridation . Proponents are pouring huge amounts of money and political clout into keeping more cities fluoridated especially after its voted out. My guess is that some PR person "inspired" the writer who doesn't know any better that the fluoride added to water supplies is ineffective at reducing tooth decay and harmful to health. Tooth decay crises are occurring in all fluoridated cities http://www.fluoridenews.blogspot.com Adverse health effects of fluoride, which accumulates in the body, are here http://www.FluorideAction.Net/issues/health

Or maybe a major advertiser insisted on this episode because we have been proving that fluoride is harmful and it's scaring people away from buying their useless products

The truth is that modern science indicates that ingesting fluoride does not reduce tooth decay. The CDC says fluoride absorbs into tooth enamel by topical means and that the amount that emerges from saliva to bathe teeth topically is too low to have any beneficial effects.

Fluoride is neither a nutrient nor essential for healthy teeth. Consuming a fluoride free diet does not cause tooth decay. however, consuming too much fluoride can lead to bone and tooth damage and our children are already fluoride overdosed from food, water, pharmaceuticals, dental products and air emissions which shows up as dental fluorosis.

the CDC reports that up to 60% of US adolescents are afflicted with fluoride damaged teeth - white spotted, yellow, brown and/or pitted teeth. Yet 51% of them have tooth decay

Fluoride is regulated as a drug in toothpaste only for topical application. Fluoride is regulated by the EPA as a water contaminant. the FDA has never safety tested fluoride and reports that fluoride supplements are unapproved drugs.

Like all drugs, fluoride has adverse side effects that can range from stomach pains to cancer.
