Storyline

Set in suburbia during the 1950s, Fruitcake tells the story of 'Rosemary' and 'Sallie,' who for various reasons, feel they are not as happy as they should be with the world around them. Disconnected and ambivalent, they are intrigued by the prospect of a new cure-all for their loneliness. Desperate for their lives to live up to some imaginary ideal, these women might be swayed to take any course of action, even if it costs them their very sanity. Written by Anonymous
