Sir Arthur Conan Doyle published a story called "Silver Blaze" in 1892. In it, prize-winning racehorse Silver Blaze was missing, his trainer murdered, and the stable boy drugged. This broadcast of Elementary includes the death of one man but the failure of a plot to poison prize-winning racehorse Silver Blaze, now retired to stud.
