Rebecca Daniel: Louis?
Louis Daniel: Oh. I know I was supposed to stay here. I only made a notification, I promise. Rebecca, what's wrong?
Rebecca Daniel: I have to tell you something, Louis. Something terrible.
Louis Daniel: You can tell me anything. It will be all right.
Rebecca Daniel: That's just it. I'm afraid it won't be all right.

A Trip to the Big Apple
5 June 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Hickman finds himself heading to New York to investigate a sex trafficking ring which smacks of Genovese. This is the guy who shot Hickman in the hand and has frequently made life miserable for him. He is a sociopath and threat to all who come across him. Hickman meets his old partner and they set things in motion. One of the most interesting moments comes at the very beginning when a set of lasers guards a truck which contains girls, some of whom are dead, others beaten beyond recognition. This is a particularly well put together police drama. When Genovese finally shows up, we wonder how he will escape again--he's that slippery. I'm predicting right here that he will find his way back again. Someone should just silence him, but the principles have too much commitment to moral actions and procedures.
